Our events have grown exponentially through the years. We love seeing the crowds of participants and their supporters at all the events we are associated with. As an organization, we have events that are all our own and those that we are hired to organize and execute.
Dia de los muertos 5k & 1mi

COMMUNITY TOY DRIVE

1,000 MILE CHALLENGE
all year ending december 31
A challenge from us to you. Complete 1,000 miles for the year. The mileage can be all one sport or spread across multiple sports like running, cycling, or walking as long as you total 1,000 miles. If that's too lofty of a goal, we also have a two person team option to help you spread the mileage out across two people.

SOMBRERO FESTIVAL'S - CHARRO DAYS CLASSIC

The original and long standing Charro Days 5k as part of Brownsville's annual Sombrero Festival. This run features a 1mi and a 5K route. The 5K is a timed event with age group awards.

COMMUNITY AUTISM AWARENESS RUN

This is our annual City Cruisers Community Autism Awareness Run. Founded by City Cruisers as a kick off event for Autism Awareness Month (April) in an effort to raise awareness within our community. This run features a 1mi and a 5K route. The 5K is a timed event with age group awards.

LE TOUR DE CARACARA TRAILS
4-27-2025 at 7:ooam
FREE Social Ride in collaboration with Caracara Trails featuring a beginner and an intermediate route. Both routes will be escorted and guided by City Cruisers Cyclists. Helmets are ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED. Hydration and safety lights highly recommended.

United we run 5k run/walk
september 6, 2025
This is a chip timed race event hosted by United Way in Harlingen with awards for the Top 3 Overall Male and Female runners. A finisher medal and event T-Shirt for every registered participant is included with registration.

FREE 1mi and 5K running event to celebrate Global Running Day. The 5K features timing with free gifts for top finishers in each age group.

COMMUNITY CANCER AWARENESS RUN/RIDE
10-11-25 and 10-12-25
This is a two day event spread over Saturday and Sunday. Our running event takes place on Saturday and features a 1mi and a 5K route. The 5K is a timed race event with age group awards. Our cycling event takes place on Sunday and features a police escorted 25 mile ride around Brownsville at a controlled speed.
